About a month ago, my computer started randomly freezing while gaming—usually about half an hour into a session. The screen would freeze completely, and nothing worked; Ctl-alt-del, alt-tab, and alt-f4 didn't help. The only way to restart was by holding down the power button. Sometimes it wouldn't turn back on, and I noticed the DRAM light would be on at times, and other times it wouldn't. I have two 16GB RAM sticks and tried each one individually in every slot, but it didn't make a difference. Recently, I can't even load a game before it freezes. I'm unsure if it's a GPU issue or if my PSU is too weak or failing. Here are my specs:
- CPU: Ryzen R5 7600X
- Cooler: Aorus Waterforcr 240
- GPU: Gigabyte 6750 XT
- Motherboard: Aorus B650 Elite AX
- RAM: 2x 16GB Kingston Fury DDR5 6000
- Storage: 2x WD Black 1TB M.2 and 2x WD Black 2TB HDD
- PSU: Corsair RM750X (2021)
- Case: Fractal Pop Air

You should definitely try removing the GPU and see if your system works with the onboard graphics. If the problem goes away, then the GPU might be the culprit. But keep in mind, if it's your PSU that's causing issues, the freezing could still happen because the GPU isn’t drawing power when it’s disconnected.

True, but remember this: if the freezing only happens when the GPU is under load, it might still point to the PSU being the issue since it has to provide more power to the GPU in those moments.
