I have an old hard drive filled with hundreds of pictures, but I no longer have a PC to access it. Is there a way for me to transfer these photos to another hard drive without using a computer, or can I do it through my Mac? I would really appreciate any suggestions!

Another option is to use a SATA-to-USB adapter from a local PC shop. Just make sure your hard drive isn't an old IDE type. These adapters are pretty cheap, and if you’re planning to deal with hard drives often, a docking station could be a good investment. It can plug into your USB and makes accessing files much easier. Once you connect it, you should see your folders and files pop up. There are also many software options available for cloning or recovering data, but make sure to choose one that fits your skill level!
You might want to consider getting an externally powered hard drive enclosure. That way, you can easily connect the old hard drive to your phone and access the files directly from there.
Just so you know, Macs can read NTFS hard drives, so you should be fine there. If your drive is formatted as FAT32 or exFAT, there won’t be any issues transferring files since Macs can read and write to those formats.

I've heard that you can also use the manufacturer's software for clone or recovery, which is sometimes the easiest route if you're in a hurry!
