Hey everyone, I'm new to building PCs and recently set up a system using a B650E-E wifi motherboard, a Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, and 32 GB of RAM, along with an open box XFX Mercury 9070 XT. Unfortunately, I'm facing issues with the graphics card, specifically a 'AMD driver timeout' error that crashes my games before they even load properly. The card is running on stock settings—no overclocking or undervolting. I also have a 3070 Ti Founders Edition that works without any problems. Some people suggested rolling back the drivers could help, but I'm considering whether I should just return the 9070 XT and get a different card if these issues persist. I'd really appreciate any advice you might have on resolving this driver timeout error!

Try using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely remove the AMD drivers and then reinstall them fresh. If issues persist, consider doing a clean installation of Windows. This can often fix driver-related issues.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely give DDU a shot and see if a clean Windows install helps.
