I'm building my first PC and getting ready for a test boot. I need help figuring out how to connect my Sapphire Pulse 7900XT graphics card to my Corsair RM750e power supply. My PSU has three PCI-E cables available: one with a 12V-2x6 (12+4) pin, another one that goes from 12V-2x6 to Dual 8-pin (6+2), and the last one is a PCIe 8-pin (6+2). The 7900XT has two 8-pin connectors. I've connected one 8-pin, but I'm uncertain about the second. It seems like I can't use the 12+4 pin directly on the GPU, but I could use the dual 8-pin cable connecting it to the 12V-2x6 port on the PSU. I'm a bit worried about using a daisy-chain setup based on some things I've read. Should I get a separate 6+2 cable, or can I make this work?

You can definitely use the dual 8-pin (6+2) cable. Each 6+2 connector has its own set of 12V pins directly wired back to the PSU, so it’s not daisy-chained. You can plug both connectors from that cable into your GPU without any worries. Just pick whichever one you prefer, and it should run perfectly.
Yeah, that dual 8-pin is good to go! Don’t stress about daisy chaining in this case; it doesn’t apply to that setup. You should be fine with it—seems like a lot of concern online is just a game of telephone. Just trust your connections, and you’ll do great!
I appreciate that! I was getting mixed opinions online which made me hesitate a bit, but I'll try this setup. Thanks!
