How do I get rid of an unwanted 17MB free space partition after formatting my hard drive?

I recently switched from Windows to Linux and formatted two 22TB hard drives. One was formatted as EXT4 from the beginning, which went smoothly. The other started out as NTFS, and after transferring my data, I formatted it to EXT4 using the 'Disks' application on Linux Mint. After the formatting, I ended up with two free space partitions. I managed to eliminate one using the 'Resize' function on my EXT4 partition, but there's still a 17MB partition that I can't seem to get rid of. It's not a huge amount, but it annoys me that my drive isn't a single continuous EXT4 partition. Is there an easy fix for this?

It sounds like that 17MB gap might just be a result of how the partitioning tool aligned the partitions. Honestly, it's probably not worth the effort to fix it. The drive is 22TB, and 17MB is such a tiny fraction of that; you might end up causing more issues trying to adjust it. Just let it be!
