I'm trying to install Ubuntu on my second NVMe drive while Windows 11 is installed on my first NVMe. However, when I boot from the Ubuntu USB, I get a "no medium found" error, and it switches to trying a netboot install. After the netboot downloads Ubuntu completely, it just stops and I'm left stuck. Also, Rufus isn't recognizing my second NVMe drive, even though I've set it up for storage. Does anyone have advice on how to get around these issues?

I feel you—this kind of setup can get pretty complicated! You mentioned that Rufus doesn’t recognize your second NVMe; just make sure you're not trying to image the ISO to that drive directly, as Rufus is typically for USB drives. Instead, consider creating the bootable USB with Ventoy like someone suggested. It's user-friendly and supports multiple ISOs.
It sounds like you're having quite a few issues there! First off, if the USB you're using isn't booting correctly, it could be corrupt or the drive itself might be failing. For the netboot situation, if you're not running a netboot server, you shouldn't be seeing that screen. You definitely don’t want to try to run an ISO directly from Windows — that's not how it works. Instead, you could use a tool like Ventoy to create a bootable USB drive. That might help you out!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll check out Ventoy. Do you think it’s possible to create a separate partition on my first NVMe and boot from there instead?
