I'm new to building PCs and usually leave it to a local shop, but I recently got a 9060xt as a late Christmas gift and want to install it myself. I know how to replace a GPU generally, but I'm worried about breaking it during installation since it's an expensive and fragile part. Can anyone share how likely it is to accidentally damage a GPU when putting it in? If it's too easy to break it, I'd rather pay for someone else to handle it.

Honestly, unless you're trying to multitask or being careless, it’s not easy to break a GPU. Just don’t apply too much force at the wrong angle when attaching it. If it’s seated incorrectly, don’t force it! Take your time and you'll be alright.
GPUs are actually sturdier than they may seem. If you just focus on getting it lined up properly and push down firmly until you hear a click, you should be fine. Just don’t rush it!

Exactly! Just keep an eye on the retention clip and be gentle with it. If you really struggle, there are plenty of tutorials online that can guide you.
