How much longer can my failing SSD last?

Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a predicament with my SSD. It's not in the best shape, and I'm curious about how much longer I can expect it to function. My finances are tight right now, so replacing it isn't an option just yet. I've been moving important files to the cloud because I don't have much faith in this drive anymore. Just to give you some context, I've been using my ASUS TUF GAMING F15 for about a year and a half now. Any insights on how long I might be able to still use my SSD before it completely gives out would be greatly appreciated!

It's tough to say; it could fail at any moment or hang on for a while longer. Watch out for things like overheating and be mindful of how full the drive is since those factors can really shorten its lifespan. Just keep an eye on those aspects!

There's really no way to predict how long it might last. You've got to prepare for the worst-case scenario, which it sounds like you're already doing by backing up your data. That's smart!

Considering your drive is showing 0% health and has critical warnings, it's quite a gamble using it. I'd say it could die at any moment, so just be ready for that. Booting up might become a real challenge any day now.

Having warnings is definitely a red flag, but SSDs can be unpredictable. You might have already lost data without knowing it, or it could keep running for a long time. Just remember, it’s always a good idea to have backups, so you’re not caught off guard.

Totally agree! Never rely on a single drive, especially if it’s showing issues.

Honestly, it could just keep running until it doesn't. Just be ready with a Windows 11 USB in case it goes south. Keeping multiple backups is super important, and that should buy you some time, but be prepared for a sudden failure.
