How Much Should Beginners Know for a Programming Job Interview?

I'm a beginner learning programming and I've got a grasp on the basics of object-oriented programming, including understanding classes, methods, and properties. I'm also familiar with how libraries work and how to put them together, but I haven't gained much real-world experience just yet. I've written and understood code and enjoy solving problems, but I still feel like I don't know enough to apply for a job. Is it okay to apply while I'm still learning? How much did others know before they went for their first tech interview? I'd love to hear what worked for you and how much you learned before applying for positions.
