I just started learning React about 5 days ago using a YouTube channel that offers a 12-hour course. So far, I've completed around 8 hours. I'm a bit unsure if I'm rushing through it or if I'm on the right track with my goal of mastering basic frontend by the end of September. I'm also interested in backend development, and I've heard that having React skills is important these days. Should I take my time with React, or is it okay to pursue backend while learning React simultaneously?

Honestly, worrying too much about how much time you spend learning React isn't super helpful. Even if you put in 20 hours, you’d still just be scratching the surface. It's important to learn both frontend and backend eventually, so go ahead and tackle React if it interests you – you can always adjust your focus later!

I get that! Since I'm leaning more towards backend, I've decided to treat React as a side project. It feels better that way. Thanks for the insight!
