Hey everyone! I have a laptop running unactivated Windows 11, and I use a local account named 'Asus.' I never changed the profile picture or signed in with a Microsoft account. However, after downloading Minecraft and logging in with my Microsoft account, my local account's profile picture changed to match my Microsoft account picture. I'm trying to figure out how to remove that and switch it back to the default profile picture. I spent quite a bit of time discussing this with ChatGPT but couldn't resolve it, especially since there are no images in the AccountsPictures folders. I'd appreciate any suggestions! Thanks a lot!

It sounds like signing into Minecraft may have linked your local account to your Microsoft account, which caused that picture swap. Try unconnecting your Microsoft account from your local account in Settings under Accounts. If you run into issues, share a screenshot of what’s happening—like if options are greyed out or if you're seeing an error message.
Thanks for the tips, I’ll check the settings! Just to clarify, I just want to return to the default profile picture without any Microsoft connection. I appreciate the backup reminder too!
Just a heads up—changing settings or system configurations could potentially risk data loss. Make sure you back up your data before diving into any big changes. If you need further clarification on those options, check out the FAQ thread for more detailed guidance on Windows 11 settings.
