Hey everyone! I'm trying to find a way to use my Roku streaming stick with my Dell P2425H monitor, which doesn't have any built-in speakers or audio output options. I have my monitor connected to my Dell laptop, and I'd like to send the audio to some external speakers that connect via USB-C or Bluetooth. Unfortunately, I can't stream directly from my laptop's browser since it's a work device and has streaming sites blocked. Any suggestions on how to make this work?

A simpler solution is to get an HDMI audio extractor to place between your Roku and the monitor. After that, connect your speakers to the extractor. Also, some Roku devices allow you to stream audio to the Roku app on your phone, so you could use headphones that way.
Great suggestions so far! One more idea: some Roku remotes actually have a headphone jack! It’s a bit goofy, but definitely worth trying if you have one of those remotes.
You'll need to connect your Roku to a soundbar or A/V receiver with HDMI out and then link that to your monitor. Since your monitor doesn't have any audio out options, there's no way to get the sound directly from the Roku to your monitor. An alternative would be to use an HDMI audio extractor between the Roku and the monitor. Just remember, your laptop can only do HDMI out, so it won't work for this setup.
