How to Fix Google Captcha Issues on Home Network?

I've been having a frustrating issue with Google where I keep getting hit with "detected unusual traffic" prompts, forcing me to complete captchas almost every time I open a new tab. I live with my family, so there are four people using the internet here, but even when I'm the only one online, the problem persists. I'm looking for troubleshooting methods to resolve this. Could it be due to too many devices connected? Is someone spoofing our internet?

First off, try disabling all your browser extensions. If the captchas stop appearing, enable them one by one to find the problem. Also, check if you're using a VPN—sometimes that's the culprit. If that doesn't work, test it out on a clean browser you haven't used before, like Firefox or Opera!

You're definitely not alone! I've been facing this too, whether I'm on my home Wi-Fi or using mobile data. It seems like something's off with Google itself, rather than our setups.

Head over to chrome://settings/security and check if Safe Browsing is on. If it is, try turning it off and see if the captchas persist. It might help!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll give that a shot.

A lot of people are facing access denied errors lately across various platforms. I even got hit with this on YouTube, which felt like I was being mistaken for a bot! Sometimes it just resolves itself. You might just need to be patient with it.

I used to have this issue on my iPhone's Safari browser, and it drove me crazy! I switched to Chrome, and I haven't encountered the problem since.
