How to Fix Lag Spikes While Gaming with My New Router?

I recently upgraded my gaming setup by buying a GT-AX6000 router and getting a 1GIG internet plan, expecting a better gaming experience. However, I'm encountering significant lag spikes when two PCs are gaming together, and sometimes even when I'm playing solo in CS2, the games freeze despite the ping being low. I would love some advice on how to set up my router or optimize my network for smoother online gaming.

To improve your gaming experience, follow these setup steps. I recommend checking your QoS settings in the router's interface to prioritize gaming traffic. This might help reduce lag when multiple devices are in use. Also, ensure both PCs are connected via Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi if possible for a more stable connection.
