I just got my iPhone 17 and was trying to transfer data from my old phone. Everything was going smoothly until it suddenly entered recovery mode about an hour into the transfer. I connected it to my Windows PC and opened iTunes, but after trying to restore the phone, it just shows the loading bar for a few seconds before rebooting to the Apple logo, then goes back to recovery mode. I'm really confused and frustrated trying to figure out what's wrong!

It sounds like you might be having issues with iTunes and your Windows setup. Are you seeing a "Connect to computer" screen or a Recovery Assistant? You shouldn't be using iTunes with Apple devices on the latest iOS. Instead, try using the Apple Devices app designed for Windows.
I got an error 1109 when I tried that, any idea what that means?
