I'm trying to install Linux Mint on my computer that already has Windows 11 and CachyOS installed. Windows 11 is on disk #1, and CachyOS is on disk #2, which uses the Limine bootloader. Everything's working fine so far, but I want to add Mint to the system without installing GRUB, so my existing bootloader doesn't get messed up. The plan is to configure Mint within the Limine bootloader after completing the installation. How can I do this?

Sounds like you're diving deep into the world of dual-booting! To skip the GRUB installation during Mint setup, you can select the 'Something else' option in the installer. From there, make sure you choose the correct partition for Mint, and leave the device for bootloader installation blank. It should help you avoid overwriting Limine.

That makes sense! I found some old guides, but they didn't specifically mention that method. Glad to know I can leave it blank.
