Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my gaming PC and I've got my eye on some hardware. Here's what I'm planning to get: a Ryzen 7 5700X CPU and an RX 6700 XT GPU. Right now, due to the crazy RAM prices, I'm sticking with 16 GB of DDR4 running at 3200 MHz. For storage, I have a PCIe Gen3 SSD that delivers 3500 MB/s read speed and 2500 MB/s write speed. My goal is to build a PC that can match the power of a standard PS5 so I can enjoy games in the coming years without problems. Do you all think this setup will work?

Absolutely, your setup is solid! The RX 6700 XT should perform quite well even at 1440p. If you're looking at new releases, sticking to 1080p might be a safer bet to ensure smooth gameplay.
Looks like a solid rig! For 1080p gaming, you should have at least five years of solid performance ahead of you.
You're definitely in a good spot with this hardware. The Ryzen 7 5700X is powerful enough to outperform the PS5's CPU, plus the 6700 XT gives you ample graphical power. If prices are decent, consider upgrading to something like the 9060 XT for better longevity and support for features like the latest FSR.
For sure! It’s only a small price difference and could really future-proof your setup.

I agree! That GPU is actually a bit stronger than what the PS5 offers, so you should be more than fine.
