I'm new to this and trying to install CatchyOS for the first time. The ISO I downloaded comes with GRUB, but I've heard that using GRUB on an MSI motherboard can cause issues, so I want to switch to Limine. However, I'm not sure how to do that. I tried to install it anyway, but it didn't work out. Also, when do I get to choose the desktop environment? I opted for KDE, but I'm unsure when or where to download it. I apologize if these questions are already answered somewhere – I've been googling but feel really lost. After transitioning from Windows, it's a bit overwhelming!

First off, which method did you use to flash the CatchyOS onto your USB? People have had better luck using Ventoy for booting. Ensure you select the right bootloader during the installation process; that’s usually the first choice it asks for. If you're stuck, give Ventoy a shot and see if that makes any difference!
During installation, you will typically get prompts to select your bootloader and desktop environment ahead of time.
