I found a guy selling a used PC for $608, and it includes some decent specs: an NVIDIA 2070 GPU, Intel i5 14400F CPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, an 850W PSU, an Asrock Sonic Edition motherboard, and a 1TB SSD. Plus, it's water-cooled with three fans. Is this a good deal?

It's decent but not amazing. If you really want it, I'd say go for it, but keep your expectations in check.

Honestly, that's a pretty good deal. Just see if you can offer $500 in cash to see if he bites.

Not bad overall! Just make sure you regularly undervolt the CPU; it could help with performance and prevent potential issues down the road.

Right, but remember it's the F version, so no overclocking there.

Why $608 specifically? Seems like an odd price to me. Just consider asking if he'd take $600 even!

That setup sounds solid! For $600, I think that's a fair price. If I were you, I'd consider buying it, then selling the GPU to upgrade to an RTX 4070 or 5070 down the line. You might want to throw in an extra 4TB SSD too!

Yeah, that's a smart move! Upselling the GPU could give you cool upgrades.
