Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my graphics card from a 3060 Ti to an MSI Inspire 5070 Ti, which I snagged for $789 on Newegg. I'm currently running everything in an NZXT H1 case and using a 650W SFX-L 80 PLUS Gold modular power supply. I'm looking to replace my entire setup with AM5 and other upgrades next year, but I want to know if my current 650W power supply will handle both my 5800 XT (in eco mode at 65W) and the 5070 Ti together. I only have one air cooler fan in my setup, so nothing should be drawing too much power. Any thoughts?

Yes, your 650W setup will work for sure! Just keep in mind that the 5800 XT might bottleneck the 5070 Ti. Make sure to check your performance, especially at 2K resolution. If you're looking to pair a CPU with your 5070 Ti, think about starting to watch the market for some good deals; there are some solid options out there!
I've got a 600W Gold PSU running a 5700X3D and a 5070 Ti, both undervolted, and during gaming, I see about 300W total draw, peaking at around 350W with everything maxed. So, you should be totally fine! Just make sure your PSU is a quality one, and maybe consider undervolting to save on power and heat if you can; it really helps with performance without any downsides.
I’ve never tried undervolting my GPU—does it void the warranty? Also, did you manage to overclock while undervolting?

Thanks for the heads up! Will the bottleneck be noticeable at 2K resolution? Any specific CPUs you recommend for pairing?
