Hey folks! I was given an assignment to create a social media app, and I want to try something completely new. I'm thinking about a platform where users can be truly anonymous—no usernames or IDs, just posts labeled 'anonymous.' Instead of likes or dislikes, there would just be a button saying 'I feel it' for people to express themselves without pressure. If a post doesn't get any 'I feel it' within 24 hours, it automatically deletes.
Now I'm stuck on whether to include a comment feature. I love the idea of it being a personal outlet, but maybe a simple way for others to interact could be beneficial too? What do you think? Should I keep it one-way, or allow some comments? I'm also open to any suggestions for additional features!

This sounds a bit like the anonymous boards of the past, like 4chan. Just a heads up, you might want to consider how to handle potential spam or abusive content since the anonymity could attract some undesirable behavior.
If you're thinking of building this, maybe consider starting with something smaller first. Once you get more experience, you could take on bigger ideas like this.
Totally agree! Maybe I’ll aim for a simple chat app first.
I feel like the internet doesn’t need another platform that could potentially encourage trolls and abuse. Anonymity might bring out the worst in people. Just something to keep in mind before you dive deep into this project.
How does it play out as a personal project, though? Like, could it be worth it just for personal experience?
Be careful with the idea of allowing posts without moderation; you could end up with a platform that promotes a lot of negativity or toxic behavior. Maybe just think this through before launching!
Yeah, I wouldn't want to deal with legal issues down the line.
I actually think naming it something fun like '4Clover' could work, considering you have four unique features! Just a thought!
Is that a joke or a solid suggestion?
I see...I might need to look into how 4chan works before deciding on anything.
