Is AWS SES support worth it for small businesses?

I'm running a small business and trying to switch our SMTP over to AWS SES. However, we received an email saying they would respond within 24 hours, but after reaching out immediately, we've been stuck waiting for 2 days without a reply. This situation makes me wonder if AWS SES is really a good option for us, considering we're having trouble getting support for production setup. Has anyone else faced this issue? What has your experience been with AWS support?

Totally! It's true that 'free' support isn't the same as paying for it. If you need timely help, it's worth considering the paid support plans. AWS support is known to be fantastic, but you need to pay for that level of service. Otherwise, it might not be reliable for your business needs.

Make sure to check what level of support you’re paying for. If it's the free tier, then you might be getting what you pay for. Free support can be hit or miss, often just 'best effort' kind of assistance.

Honestly, I've had similar experiences. AWS support can be phenomenal if you pay for it, but if you're relying on the free tier, you might be left hanging when you need help the most.
