I'm currently building a new PC and debating whether to go with Chrome OS or stick with Windows. Has anyone here tried using Chrome OS on a custom build? What do you think about it?

I suggest looking at proper Linux distros instead. Chrome OS is kind of a stripped-down version of Linux, and you're not really getting the full experience. You could go with something like Linux Mint if you want an easy transition from Windows, or check out options like Fedora or Bazzite for a gaming focus. It's all about what you plan to use your PC for!

Where can I find a lightweight version of Windows 11?

If you're into gaming, definitely stick with Windows 11. Chrome OS isn't really suited for that, and you'll find it pretty limiting if you do anything more than just browsing.
