I'm considering adding the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 5600MHz CL40 to my system, which includes an AMD 5-9600X and an RTX 5070. I found it for €187, but I'm unsure if it's worth it given the current high prices. I'm a bit worried about the speed being only 5600MHz and not higher. Is this a decent option for my setup?

Speed aside, the CAS latency (CL) is quite important. I've just started building my setup, so I'm still figuring things out. I originally aimed for CL30 or even CL28 before prices skyrocketed, but now I might settle for CL40. If I find a good deal on 2x8GB with better latency, I'd go for that.
Overall, I've seen a lot of support for the 6000 CL30 options. Without benchmarks, the differences between a system with 6000 CL30 and 5600 CL40 would be hard for most to notice. If the 5600 CL40 fits your budget, go for it!
CL40 isn't great, you might want to look for something better if you can.
You might want to consider the KLEVV FIT V DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6000 MHz CL32 instead; it's typically cheaper and has better specs.
If your budget allows, check out this kit for slightly more. It offers CL30 at 6000MHz, which is a significant improvement.
Given the current price trends, you have to choose between paying a lot for higher specs or getting something decent at a more standard price. I wouldn't bother shelling out €400+ for a 32GB kit at 6000MHz either; it’s a tough market right now.

I got a set of KLEVV FIT V DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6000 MHz CL32 for €170—they felt like the better choice for my build!
