Is it safe to submerge a PC in 99% ethanol?

I've seen some cases where people use mineral oil in a fish tank setup for their PC builds, but I'm curious if 99% ethanol could work instead. Ethanol is non-conductive and might be easier to clean up if I want to sell the components later or switch them back to regular use. I'm also considering that its lower viscosity might help with cooling and fan movement. Any thoughts?

Submerging electronics in a flammable liquid like ethanol is a big no. The low flash point means it's risky, and the heat from the PC would cause it to evaporate quickly, leading to fumes that can be harmful.

Exactly! You'd definitely want to avoid having sparks around that setup.
