Is It Time to Switch from Windows to Linux?

I've been pondering for a while whether I should switch from Windows to Linux. Lately, Windows updates haven't been great, and with all the changes they have planned, moving to a different operating system seems like a good idea. If I do decide to switch, what's the best Linux distribution to try? I've heard a lot about Linux Mint, but I'm open to any desktop environment, as I'm comfortable adapting quickly. I don't necessarily need an OS that mimics Windows; I'm looking for something simple with customization options. Also, I have a bit of a silly question: is it possible to use Roblox Studio on Linux via Wine or any other alternatives?

Linux Mint is a solid choice for anyone starting out with Linux. It's user-friendly and has a lot of resources available to help you get used to it.

Before fully committing, you might want to test Linux on an older laptop if you have one lying around. It can help you evaluate if Linux is right for you without messing up your main machine.

I have an ancient Dell Latitude that's 32-bit and not many distros support security updates for that. What should I do? I'm currently using Ubuntu on my main system.
