Is June a Tough Month for Job Hunting?

I received several job offers earlier this year in January, February, and March, but I turned them down because I was already employed and didn't want to juggle two jobs. Unfortunately, I was laid off last month and haven't had any luck finding a job since. I'm wondering if it's harder to secure a position in June. Is the job market cooler this time of year? I've heard that the global economy was more promising in early 2025.

Summertime can be tricky! With students graduating and lots of people taking vacations, it might feel like everyone’s gone. But don't lose hope; things usually pick up after summer!

I totally understand! I just can’t afford to be out of work for two more months.

It really depends on your location and the industry you're in. Many companies are putting hiring on hold due to some economic uncertainties. If there are tariffs affecting businesses, they might be playing it safe for now.

I'm in the same boat looking for a role, and I feel your pain. It’s definitely a challenge right now for many of us.
