I'm building my first PC and would love some feedback on the parts I've chosen before I start purchasing them. This PC needs to handle various tasks, including running art programs, video editing, light programming, and some casual gaming like Minecraft and Stardew Valley. Here are the parts I've selected so far: (link to parts list)
**CPU:** Intel Core i5-13400
**CPU Cooler:** Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB
**GPU:** MSI GeForce NVIDIA RTX 3060 12GB
**Motherboard:** ASRock B760 Pro RS Wifi
**RAM:** Silicon Power XPower Zenith Gaming 16GB x2
**Storage (SSD):** PNY CS2230 1TB M.2-2280 x1
**PSU:** Be Quiet! Pure Power 12 M 650W
**Case:** Vetroo AL800 ATX Mid Tower
**Case Fans:** NZXT F120 RGB Core 120mm x2
I have some specific questions:
- Is a 750W PSU too much power? I want some headroom for future upgrades but don't want to overspend. It needs to have 2 EPS 8-pin connectors for the motherboard.
- Is the motherboard a good choice? I had a hard time deciding.
- Most bottleneck calculators indicate a GPU bottleneck at higher resolutions, but I'm not planning on upgrading my monitor anytime soon. Should I consider getting a different GPU? If yes, what would you recommend?
I'm aiming to keep my budget around $1000 and will look for some parts second-hand to save money. Any tips on that would be appreciated!

The motherboard seems fine for your needs, but I recommend double-checking that it's compatible with everything else. As for the PSU, 650W should be more than enough unless you're planning on heavy upgrades soon. And about purchasing parts second-hand, always check the seller's reputation and try to get items that still have warranty left!
Honestly, I think your build looks solid for what you're intending to do! If you've budgeted for $1000 and are including used parts, you should be good. A 3060 should handle most of your casual gaming and content creation just fine. Don't stress too much about the GPU bottleneck since your tasks aren't overly demanding on the graphics side. For future-proofing, you might consider upgrading your GPU later but for now, this setup should serve you well.
I'd suggest that instead of the 3060, you might look into getting a B580 if the price is comparable. I've heard good things about its performance for the tasks you're looking at. Also, regarding the PSU, 750W could be a bit overkill, but it never hurts to have some extra power for future upgrades!
