Is My Local Broadband Provider Safe for My Data?

I just got broadband installed by a local cable provider called 'Multireach Broadband', but I haven't heard of them before and information about this company seems scarce. I'm quite anxious about my data security, especially since I've shared my KYC documents during registration. Is it safe to use a less-known provider like this? What steps can I take to ensure my data is secure?

Not to panic, but it's valid to be concerned! Maybe look into the company's reviews or try contacting their support to get clarity on their data handling policies. It might help ease some of your fears.

If you're worried about your ISP, a good trick is to set up a VPN using a small VPS. This way, all your internet traffic gets routed through it, adding an extra layer of privacy. Plus, it's generally a good practice to be cautious with any lesser-known service providers, especially when personal data is involved.
