Last night, I tried to run four sticks of DDR5 RAM on my motherboard, but after installation, it showed a yellow light. I powered off the PC, reseated the RAM, and turned it back on, and the yellow light went away. However, I ran into another issue: while the RGB lights up, I'm getting a black screen with a 'no signal' message, even though my monitor seems to power on. Additionally, the fans don't turn on, and I can't turn the PC off using the power button; I have to cut the power from the surge protector. I've already tested each RAM stick individually and cleared the CMOS, but nothing seems to work. Am I looking at needing to RMA the motherboard?

I’d double-check the pins and the cable connecting your power button. Sometimes those get loose!
The yellow light is definitely a debug indicator. Your PC can power on without RAM but won’t post. If you've tested all RAM sticks in every slot, it might indicate faulty RAM or maybe a bad slot. Trying a stick you know works might help!
Resetting the CMOS might work. Try taking the battery out for about ten seconds and then putting it back in. But really, make sure to read your manual closely!
Make sure your two RAM sticks are in the right slots. My motherboard is really picky about that stuff!
I checked, and they're in the right slots. But could that really stop the fans from working and prevent the forced shutdown?
I’ll retest the RAM in different slots just to see if that helps.
But why did the yellow light go off if it was a RAM issue? Shouldn't it stay lit?
