I've been using my computer since 2019 with Windows 10, but now that support has ended, I'm wondering if I should just build a new one. Unfortunately, my system specs aren't compatible with Windows 11, and the fixes seem too complicated for me. If I decide to build a new PC, I'd like to know which parts from my current setup could still be useful. Here are my specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
- Motherboard: B460 TOMAHAWK MAX
- RAM: 2x Corsair 8 GB DDR4 + 2x G.Skill 8GB DDR4
- Storage: Intel 1 TB
- Power Supply: EVGA 80 Plus Gold 750 W
- Case: NAZXT H710i with Liquid Cooling

Don't stress too much about the Windows support. As others have said, just because Windows 10 is unsupported doesn't mean your hardware is obsolete. If it meets your needs, keep using it! If you decide to upgrade, think about getting a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM for DDR5, but other parts can likely be reused.
Actually, your computer might still work with Windows 11 if you enable fTPM and switch your boot mode to UEFI. You might need to reinstall the OS rather than try to upgrade directly.
I feel the same! It seems like every motherboard has those settings enabled by default now.
You're on the right track. Just jump into the BIOS and tweak those settings if you want to run Windows 11. It's not too hard, I promise!
I’m not great with the BIOS yet, any videos that could guide me?
Why not consider switching to Linux? It’s a solid OS for gaming these days, and Steam works well on it!

Do you know of any good guides or YouTube videos that explain how to do that?
