Is My PC Build Good for Gaming?

Hey everyone! I just returned a prebuilt PC after it failed on me within three days, so I'm venturing into creating my own setup. I'm a total newbie when it comes to PC components, and I'm looking for some advice! I'm focusing on a budget of about $2000, ideally spending a bit less if possible. My main use will be gaming (RPGs and indie games), plus some casual web browsing and watching YouTube. I'd love for my build to have a white aesthetic. Here's the list I've put together so far: [Micro Center Builder Link](https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=396eaf0f-b5c7-4878-9059-c432ec0b7770). Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You’ve got a solid starting point but, honestly, your build seems a bit dated compared to what’s out there now. If you can swing it, go for a 7800X3D or 9800X3D CPU for top-notch gaming performance. Pair that with a good motherboard that matches and has enough ports is crucial. And don’t skimp on an NVMe SSD—2TB is sweet, but even 1TB is okay if you're okay with managing your games. I'd also look at newer GPUs like the NVIDIA 5070 or 5070ti for better gaming tech. If you're overwhelmed, consider visiting Micro Center for a hands-on consultation; they’ll help you pick out parts in person!

Yeah, that White GPU setup sounds killer! Just keep an eye on prices, though!

Hey! It looks like you missed posting your exact component choices—it’s just a link to the PC builder tool. But don't worry! If you're aiming for gaming, a few key components could really up your game. I noticed a lot of folks suggest going for newer CPUs like the Ryzen 7 9700X or Core Ultra 7 instead of the i9 12900K since they're more efficient and better for gaming. Also, don't forget an SSD for your storage—it really speeds things up! If you need help, I can help with some specific parts!

Yeah, definitely avoid that i9; there are way better choices now!
