Is My Phone Being Hacked?

I'm working at a small office and things have gotten pretty tense due to our owner's messy divorce. The ex-husband is said to be a tech whiz and has already done some crazy things like cutting the power and internet lines, which left us all feeling uneasy. Recently, several coworkers and I have had strange experiences where people call our personal cell phones, only for a male voice to pick up and say, "don't call this number anymore." This has happened to multiple people in the office, and I'm starting to wonder if he could be intercepting our calls. Is it really possible he's behind this? If so, what can we do to protect ourselves?

Did you reach out to the police about this? It could be useful to have an official report since the situation sounds pretty serious.

If this is happening on personal phones, it’s rare but not impossible, especially if it’s a company phone that might be redirected somewhere else. Just keep your info safe and maybe look into it more.

Honestly, it seems a bit far-fetched, but it’s hard to underestimate what someone good with technology could do. Have you confirmed with the police what action they can take?

I asked them, but they said there’s not much they can do without physical evidence. They just took my report.

If I were you, I’d do a few things: 1) Turn off your cell phone when you’re at the office. 2) Make calls from somewhere else during lunch. 3) Seriously consider looking for a new job; it doesn’t seem like this situation is going to end well.
