I accidentally had a bottle leak inside my bag, and my MacBook charger got soaked, although my laptop itself is fine. There's still some water coming out when I shake the charger. Is it safe to use it in this condition?

Even after the water is out, it’s still risky to use. Any signs of corrosion can cause shorts, which might end up with the charger burning out or worse – you might be calling the fire department!

Seriously, water and electricity are a dangerous mix! You might want to reconsider using that charger until you know for sure it's completely dried out and safe.

Using it could lead to corrosion over time, which can cause serious issues. If it's a standard USB-C charger, you might think about just replacing it. But since you mentioned it's a MagSafe and costs $100, it's tough, but safety comes first!

Nope, it’s definitely not safe to use while there's still water inside! If water can come out when you shake it, that means it could still cause a short circuit. Better to play it safe and get a new one.
