Is pairing a B580 motherboard with a Ryzen 5 8500G a good idea?

I'm new to building my own PC and want to know if combining a Ryzen 5 8500G with a B580 motherboard is a sensible choice for my budget. I'm a bit worried since I've read that having an Intel GPU and an AMD CPU could cause issues. Additionally, I've heard mixed reviews about the B580's performance, especially with weaker CPUs. Could anyone share their thoughts on this setup and suggest if there's something better I should consider?

Using an AMD CPU with an Intel GPU won't cause any major issues, so don't worry about that! However, the Ryzen 5 8500G isn't the best option, especially when there are alternatives like the 7500F, which would pair better with the B580 for better performance. Have you thought about switching?

I picked the 8500G since it's the cheapest AM5 CPU I found. The 7500F is about 70 AUD more, do you think it's worth that extra cost?
