Is Spyhunter detecting real malware or just scareware?

I recently downloaded Spyhunter based on a recommendation from YouTube after using Malwarebytes for a while. To my shock, Spyhunter reported finding 20 Trojans, 325 potentially unwanted programs (PUPs), and 30 pieces of adware, which really freaked me out! I wanted to remove these threats immediately, but I hit a paywall with Spyhunter. I've also tried AVG, Malwarebytes, and Windows Security without success. My main concern is that Spyhunter is detecting things that no other software has found, and I can't manually delete this malware. Can anyone suggest good free alternatives or solutions?

Honestly, I think Spyhunter is just scareware. Uninstall it and steer clear of it in the future. No reputable software should be trying to freak you out like that.

Before you fully trust Spyhunter's claims, check out its controversies online. It’s worth investigating what exactly it's detecting. What sorts of threats are they claiming to find?

I have OneBrowser on my PC, and it flagged a lot too, mostly cookies from sites I've visited, so it might be exaggerating.
