I'm currently using an RTX 3080 and considering an upgrade to the RTX 5080. My main goal is to play multiplayer games like Arc Raiders at 4K resolution and aim for at least 120 FPS. While I mostly play single-player games, I want to ensure I can also handle multiplayer titles at high frame rates. Can the 5080 deliver consistent performance for 4K gaming with high FPS, or is it still not quite there yet with current GPU technology?

Honestly, you might want to stick with 1440p gaming for the best experience, especially on a 27 or 32-inch monitor. It lets you hit those high refresh rates much easier than 4K does.
I actually have both setups—one 1440p at 165Hz and a 4K monitor at 144Hz, so I can see the benefits of both!
