Hey everyone! So, I recently picked up a 1TB Crucial E100 NVMe drive from Amazon here in India for about ₹4700 (around $54). I considered a few alternatives, like a Kioxia EXCERIA SATA SSD (960GB for $49) and a WD SN500 for $70, but I was trying to stick to a budget of $35-$40. Now, here's my concern: I've read that the E100 has a pretty low TBW rating of 80, which seems concerning compared to the others. I mostly use the drive for storing movies and photos, and occasionally gaming, estimating I'll write about 10-15 GB a day—maxing out around 25 GB on heavy days. Should I stick with the Crucial E100 or return it for something else? I'd prefer to avoid the hassle of returns if possible!

Honestly, for most drives, TBW isn't a huge deal unless you're pushing them hard. Personally, I’m not a fan of QLC drives like the E100 and would choose the Kioxia in a heartbeat. But if you're just storing movies and light gaming, you should be okay for several years before the drive shows significant wear. Just keep in mind, if it's your system drive, you might see Windows adding 5-10GB of writes daily.
Thanks for the insight! I actually went with the Kioxia for my system drive.
