Is the Micro Center Protection Plan a Good Idea?

I recently visited a Micro Center and bought a CPU and motherboard bundle for a Ryzen 9 9950X and MSI X670E MAG Tomahawk, which set me back a good amount. At checkout, I was offered a protection plan for $60 on the CPU and $25 on the Motherboard. Since I don't live close to a Micro Center right now, I'm debating whether I should get the protection plan while I have the chance. I know I can rely on the manufacturer's 3-year limited warranty for both parts, but with the price of my build, I'm wondering if $85 for extra coverage is worth it or if I can manage without it. Any advice?

Considering you have a limited warranty, if anything goes wrong, you'll have to send it back to the manufacturer and deal with shipping and waiting for a replacement. With the protection plan, Micro Center can replace your parts right away, which is super convenient! If your PC is critical for daily work, it might be worth the $85. But if it’s mainly for gaming, maybe you can hold off and wait for a possible RMA.

I appreciate your input! Since it's mainly for personal use and my first build, I might not be in a rush, but I'm also nervous about issues cropping up after spending a lot.
