Is there a way to recover a failed download without redownloading?

I recently tried to download a 4GB zip file using Firefox, but the download failed right at the end. Now I have this file that's labeled as 'PART' instead of a proper zip file. Since the size of this PART file matches the original zip file, is there any way I can extract the contents from it, or do I need to just redownload the file?

It sounds like you may have hit the 4GB file size limit of FAT32. If that's the case, simply redownloading it won't fix the issue. A quick test is to rename your PART file to ‘filename.zip’ and see if that helps you access it.

I downloaded it straight to a FAT32 USB stick instead of my hard drive. Is that what caused the problem?
