I'm completely new to PC building and I'm relying on a friend's recommendations for parts. I'm hoping to build a solid setup that lasts a long time, mainly for gaming and school work. My budget is around 1600€ and I want to ensure I'm making the right choices with these parts. I would really appreciate your feedback on the build, and if anything seems off, please let me know! Here's the list of parts I'm considering: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/QzM7gn.

I think you might want to rethink some of the parts. Your friend seems to be off the mark with his choices. The GPU you're considering has mixed reviews regarding pricing and performance. Consider looking at some alternatives before finalizing your parts.
Honestly, your build has major flaws. Apart from the SSD and case, the other choices don’t really fit well together. If you can handle it, I’ll put together a better suggestion for you soon. Just a heads up, you're gonna need the monitor too within that 1600€ budget.
Check out this build instead: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hrDsBq](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hrDsBq). It's about the same price but way better! RGB parts can be a waste of money, but this option keeps the aesthetic without costing too much more. If you're up for a little extra budget-wise, the 9700x instead of the 9600x would help with more current and future games since it has more cores.
