Hey everyone! I spotted a single MSI Gaming Trio 5070Ti at my local Best Buy for $850 MSRP, and I'm considering upgrading from my current 3080 10GB. I'm curious about whether the performance increase is really worth the cost, especially since the final price will likely be over $900 with taxes. I've also noticed a few 5080s available at $999. Should I go for the 5070Ti, wait for something better, or grab a 5080? What do you all think?

Honestly, if the cheapest 5070Ti is going for $850, I'd recommend just spending a bit more on the $999 5080. Also, I'm not a huge fan of MSI cards, even though they are generally fine, I'd stick with something else if possible. The 5080 seems like a smarter long-term choice.
I managed to snag a PNY 5070Ti for $750 at my Best Buy. You might want to call around and check if they have any deals; sometimes they might work with you on prices by giving them the SKU.
How's that PNY card working for you?

Totally agree! MSI's Gaming Trio series is decent, but the 5080 could offer better value.
