Is using a 21:9 resolution on my 1920×1080 monitor harmful?

I have a standard 1920x1080 monitor but I've been experimenting with a custom 21:9 resolution for a more immersive ultrawide experience. I'm curious if running this resolution for a long time could potentially damage my monitor, like lead to burn-in or any other issues. Has anyone had experience with this?

Nope, using that resolution won’t harm your monitor at all. Just enjoy the ultrawide experience without worrying about damage!

You shouldn’t have to worry about damage from using a 21:9 resolution, just like you wouldn’t with other resolutions. But honestly, if you’re enjoying it, maybe consider upgrading to a 21:9 monitor when you can. You'll get more screen space and a better overall experience!

Yeah, I'm definitely planning to get one as soon as I can save up! Just wanted to check on any potential downsides in the meantime.
