Issues After Update KB5068861 in Air-Gapped KMS Environments

Has anyone experienced problems after updating to KB5068861 in an air-gapped environment? Our license functionality seems to be completely broken now. Initially, we used to license our KMS server via phone, but it seems that option isn't available anymore. Since we can't connect to the internet, I'm not sure what our next steps should be. I've opened a support ticket with Microsoft, but I'm wondering if this might be related to the fix for that piracy hack issue that was recently addressed. Any insights or experiences would be helpful!

Yup, I've seen a ton of issues with this update! I updated one non-critical server with no problems, but then I ran into issues with others. One server keeps failing and tries to install the update repeatedly, while another one just tells me I need to restart to complete the update, only to ask for a restart again. It’s a mess; I'm even wiping out Windows updates on one just to see if that helps. Fingers crossed for a fix soon!

You’re not alone—this update is wreaking havoc for many! It's basically turning our systems into a comedy show right now.

Haha, right? Feels like we should just rename our troubleshooting discussions to 'Microsoft's outsourced QA department'!

We had a similar struggle moving to a KMS setup in the past. Just a heads up, you need to meet certain unique device count requirements for KMS to work—like having 5 for server OS or 25 for workstations. Maybe check if you’re meeting those limits?
