I'm facing a challenge since installing KB5065426. We typically deploy a batch of computers by setting one up, applying all updates and customizations, and then cloning it to the rest. However, now we're having problems with file and printer sharing because these machines all share the same SID. Using sysprep isn't an option for me since that would reset all my custom configurations. Is there another workaround for this duplication issue?

I’ve seen a lot of people mentioning that NewSID tool used to help with this sort of thing, but it's been deprecated and is no longer available. I found a blog about a new tool called SIDCHG that works similarly; it also changes the WSUS ID, which could help with updates. Here’s the link if you want to check it out! Just checked it out, seems promising!
We’ve also been struggling with this shared printer issue. The only solution we've found is to uninstall the KB5065426 update and just stop it from being applied again. It's frustrating, and honestly, it's something Microsoft really needs to address.
Isn't it crazy that they still allow duplicate SIDs to cause this mess?

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll try that tomorrow.
