I installed Linux Mint using the installer, and when it prompts to remove the installation medium and reboot, I do that, but it just takes me back to Windows. I really need some help here!

Are you sure you want to dual boot? Just checking because some folks accidentally format their drives. If you're trying to set up a dual boot, ensure the Linux partition has been created during the installation.

It sounds like you might need to check your BIOS/UEFI settings. Make sure that your hard drive is set as the primary boot device instead of the USB drive. Sometimes it won't boot to the installed OS if the wrong device is prioritized in the boot order.
