Looking for a Comprehensive Software Integration Directory

Hey folks! I'm on the hunt for a detailed directory or database that maps out software integrations. I'm talking about a place where you can see which applications connect with one another—whether it's through native integrations, APIs, or third-party services like Zapier.

Here's what I'm envisioning:
- Choose an app (like Slack) and find all its connection options.
- Filter results by integration type (native, Zapier, IFTTT, custom APIs, etc.).
- Possibly check out users' ratings on integration quality and reliability.
- It should cover both popular and niche applications.

I know Zapier provides a list of integrations they support, but it's limited to what they offer. The same goes for other platforms like Integromat/Make or n8n. Services like PieSync or Tray.io have decent coverage, but they're more tailored for business integrations and not really what I'm after.

I haven't come across a searchable registry that can answer questions like "Does App A integrate with App B?" and provide a straightforward, honest response. Has anyone found something like this? Or do you think there's a market gap that someone could exploit?

It sounds like the kind of directory you're looking for doesn't really exist yet. The tricky part is that integrations can break or become outdated, so any static database could quickly become stale. It's not that people haven't thought of it; it's more like a maintenance nightmare that nobody wants to tackle!
You might have some luck with platforms like G2 or Capterra, which have some integration listings per product, but they're definitely not comprehensive and lack reliable ratings.

There's not a universal directory that covers everything out there, but there are a few common approaches. Most integration platforms like Zapier, MuleSoft, or Boomi offer their own libraries where you can browse integrations. Marketplaces like Salesforce AppExchange could serve as directories for specific ecosystems.
Unfortunately, it's pretty fragmented, so you often have to search for each tool or use case individually. Are you looking for something general for all tools or do you have a specific tech stack in mind?

Thanks for the suggestions! I've faced similar issues with AppExchange and others—they're all quite isolated. I'm really in search of something more **general across tools**. I want to see the complete integration landscape for an app before making any decisions. Are you working with any specific stack?
