I'm planning to upgrade my gaming setup and need some help. Currently, I have an AMD Ryzen 5 1600x CPU paired with an ASUS motherboard and 16GB of RAM. I also have an EVGA 3080 FTW3 GPU that I'll continue to use, but I feel like my CPU and motherboard are holding my performance back, especially while playing competitive games at 1440p or games like RDR2 and Cities: Skylines with mods. I often have a browser and Discord open on a second monitor, so I need something that won't bottleneck my setup. I'd like to upgrade to 32GB of RAM and stick to AMD since I've had good experiences with them in the past. I live near a Micro Center but can also shop online. My budget is around $500 total, but I'd be open to cheaper options if they can still last for a few years. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Micro Center has some great bundles worth checking out. Do you know what case you have? Is it ATX or micro ATX? That might affect your choices going forward.
I have an ATX case, but it's slightly thinner than I prefer. Right now, I’m using a Cooler Master 212 Evo cooler that just fits. If we can save money on other parts, I’d consider upgrading the case too!
