I'm building my first gaming PC and I'm trying to choose between the RX 9070 and the RTX 5070 graphics cards. I've done some research, but prices here don't seem to match up with reviews I've seen. The RX 9070 is priced at $670, while the RTX 5070 is $600. There's also the RX 9070 XT at $790 and the RTX 5070 Ti at $840. For my CPU, I'm considering the Ryzen 5 7600X or the Ryzen 5 9600X, as they are similarly priced. I mainly want to game at 1440p on a 180hz monitor. Which GPU do you think offers more value, and is there a way to calculate their performance versus cost? Thanks!

I'd lean towards the RX 9070 for that extra VRAM, especially if you're gaming at 1440p. It should give you an edge in some games that utilize more memory. For CPU, the Ryzen 5 7600X is a strong choice for gaming!

Thanks for the advice! Are there specific games at 1440p that really take advantage of the 9070's performance and VRAM? Also, which CPU do you think is better for pure gaming?
