Hi there! I'm teaching beginner-level Python to a group of 13-year-olds in Norway, and I've got a new student from Ukraine who doesn't speak English or Norwegian. I'm searching for resources in Russian that are suitable for kids, but most of what I've found is either too complicated or not aimed at beginners. We're covering the basics like variables, printing, inputting text/numbers, and conditional statements like IF. If anyone has recommendations for free teaching materials or videos, I would be super grateful! Thanks in advance!

This other YouTube playlist helped me when I was starting out: [YouTube Playlist](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvoBekrlHDgROfUUHMbrrdsy_b2y2V_rj). It's really beginner-friendly, so hopefully, it'll work for your student too! Take your time, and it will all click eventually!
You might want to reconsider what you said about English proficiency in Ukrainian students—many of them have at least basic skills. Instead of assuming your student can’t handle some self-learning, maybe share links to online tools like ChatGPT in Russian to help them. That could be a useful resource!
And yes, he is a refugee—with many of them here, language can be a big hurdle.
Check out this playlist for beginners in Russian: [YouTube Playlist](https://youtu.be/34Rp6KVGIEM?si=HnRplLPOwhpMUozj). It’s a great starting point!
You might want to explore "The Python Generation" course on the Stepik website. It's highly rated and includes well-structured theoretical chapters along with practical problems. You can even write and test code right there! Here’s the link: [Stepik Course](https://stepik.org/course/58852/promo). It should keep your student engaged for quite a while!
Thank you for sharing! I'll check it out. 🙂

I appreciate the suggestion, but 13-year-olds really need a structured learning path. I can't just give links and expect them to figure it all out. New students especially benefit from guided content.
